Well, i suppose it's about time i actually started to plan my work out...
Having been given the brief for the Art and Design Project, I have set to work on my mood boards* (2x, different mediums...i.e. not just internet) and my 500 word Essay. - this is Outcome 1
My style of Mood boards are always going to have theme and structure. It just doesn't make sense to me otherwise. I can't use it!!
For my first mood board, which will be completely made up on the computer, I have gone for a 50's themed design (obviously) and have used film reel and placed images inside the boxes. the idea behind this is that the 50's were when film making started to be come more cutting edge, as more technology was available to lend a hand here.
My second mood board will be made up of (hopefully) old magazine and poster covers, maybe even a few leaflet designs for staged musicals?
I will post a plan for my essay later, as i'm still constructing it (as i move on with the essay :P)
*Note to self, Avoid Saul Bass at all costs, and only use as last resort. A very common choice for this project.
